Seifert Polska, the Polish subsidiary of the Seifert Logistics Group from Ulm, has appointed Simon Szczepanik (34) as a member of the management board.

In addition to Managing Director Jan Brachmann, Simon Szczepanik joins the management team of Seifert Polska as a new member of the management Board. The Polish subsidiary of the Seifert Logistics Group was founded in 1999 and is currently one of the top forwarding and contract logistics service providers in Poland with eight locations.

Szczepanik has a logistics background and already worked in Germany for international companies from the automotive industry in the logistics services sector. Growing up in Bremen, Szczepanik completed a bachelor's degree in Shipping & Chartering at university and vocational training as a merchant at SII Utbremen in Germany.

After completing his basic military service in the 4th Signal Regiment "1" in Rotenburg Wümme, he came to Poland in 2011 and 2012, more precisely to Katowice, and was employed as a trainee in the transport department of a logistics and goods transport company. Since 2013, he has been working for the Polish subsidiary of the Seifert Logistics Group, where he first held the position of assistant to the management and later assistant of project manager.

In 2017, he took over the management of the logistics department as Director of Logistics. Due to his significant involvement in the establishment of Seifert Automotive Polska, which handles supply chain management in the battery and engine plant of a well-known car manufacturer in Jawor, he was appointed authorised signatory in 2020. "Open-minded, experienced and able to multitask. Szczepanik is a great asset to the management of Seifert Polska," Jan Brachmann sums up.
