Ulm – the Seifert Logistics Group has new top management. Thomas Müllerschön has succeeded Harald Seifert as CEO of the international logistics group with head office in Ulm. Shareholder Harald Seifert takes on a new role, becoming Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Seifert Logistics Group. He will be focussing in particular on property, holdings and acquisitions, as well as large and special projects.

 

"Looking to the future, it is the right time to entrust the management of my Group to the hands of my managing team and open the door to a professional rejuvenation at the top of the company", declares Harald Seifert. In Thomas Müllerschön the Seifert Logistics Group has acquired an extremely experienced and dynamic business leader as its new CEO. He has taken over Harald Seifert's role with immediate effect.

 

16 years on the Board of Uzin Utz
Müllerschön has an impressive professional history, including 16 years as a member of the Board of publicly listed Uzin Utz AG. From 2016 he was Chairman of the Executive Board of the renowned manufacturer of system products for floor technology. While there, he demonstrated his particular flair for the needs of customers and markets, his communication skills and his distinctive financial expertise and modern management style.

In his words, the Seifert Logistics Group is extremely well-positioned in all central fields of logistics – whether as a solutions partner for Industry 4.0 or for themes like autonomous processes or robotics.

Harald Seifert remains at the company founded by his father in a new role. From now on, he will be channelling his entrepreneurial energy into his role as shareholder and Chairman of the newly created Advisory Board of the Logistics Group. "In future I will no longer work in, but rather at the company", says Harald Seifert of his new role. He wants to focus on property, holdings and acquisitions, as well as large and special projects.

 

The Seifert Logistics Group has developed very dynamically over the last few years, from a regional forwarding company into an outstanding logistics service provider in Germany and across Europe. The Group has doubled its employee numbers since 2015 to almost 2,000 today. Turnover rose by 40 percent over the same period to 197 million euros in the last financial year. The Seifert Logistics Group currently operates 45 locations throughout Europe.
